Say Hello
Huggy the Hugasaurus
Is a coming of age pre-school sitcom about a not-that-little-anymore Emotisaur who wants to give the world a hug. HUGGY embraces the swings and roundabouts of friendship, adventure and play - working through her feelings big and small, as she goes from small to big.
A feel good 78 × 7' stop-frame animated series for preschoolers produced by Yamination Studios and Threewise Entertainment with support from Warner Bros. Discovery based on the children's picture book series written by Rachel Bright (Love Monster) and illustrated by Chris Chatterton (This Is Gus).
As HUGGY embarks on her "big" adventure she realises that not everything can be solved with a hug (or at least not a physical one), and discovers she has lots she can learn from the friends around her.
Each of her friends have different ways of navigating life, the playground and the feelings that come with it: WOBBLE helps HUGGY realise that "worries can be wonderful"; GRUMMBlE encourages Huggy to forge her own path; while FLAPPY shows her that being "big" really is a state of mind.
Together, our 'core four' embody that central rollercoaster of emotions that pre-school children traverse in a single day the laughter and love of the everyday (HUGGY the Hugasaurus); the trepidation and uncertainty of the unknown (WOBBLE the Worrysaurus); being a little aloof or disagreeable towards the unwanted (GRUMMBlE the Grumpysaurus); and yet never forgetting a sense of curiosity, adventure and wonder for the new (flAPPY the Excitosaurus)
Whether it's HUGGY training FLAPPY to keep her wings and feet on the ground for a three-legged race, to WOBBLE reshaping HUGGY's square stones to create a "wheely-great solution" for getting her 'skates' on, our characters are all about fostering empathy, respect and fairness, and guaranteed to have us laughing along with their exploits.
